Support for Agricultural Development:
Salaam Junub, with support from UNDP and Sweden, has dispatched two trucks to Wowo with essential agricultural inputs, including:
- Hoes
- Spades
- Ox-plough
- Groundnuts
- Sorghum
- Vegetables
- Maize
Additionally, start-up kits were provided for:
- Ten agricultural groups (benefiting 200 people)
- Two groups for income-generating activities
Community Engagement:
The target community members are embarking on land preparation this coming February ahead of the farming season, thanks to the support from Salaam Junub, UNDP, and Sweden.
