Salaam Junub is a youth civil society organization established in January 2018 by a group of visionary, courageous and civically engaged young leaders from across South Sudan who are passionate about both ending the vicious systemic dynamics that are dehumanizing people and building the foundations for a better society.

Vision: Peaceful and prosperous local and national communities.

Mission: To promote peaceful coexistence and development among all ages and cultures in South Sudan through TTT, education, mentorship, dialogue, civic engagement, arts and action.

• Work from and toward transparency, especially in reference to the use of resources and commitments.
• Stay in regular communication with fellow members and stakeholders, and provide honest and constructive feedback to each other.
